Refunds & cancellations

Scope

This policy applies to paid advisory engagements with Smart Workflows Job Consulting — including executive search preparation, senior career advisory sessions, interview coaching blocks, career transition packages, and compensation negotiation support. It does not cover third-party products, physical goods, or subscription software, which we do not sell.

Eligibility for refunds

If you cancel a confirmed engagement in writing before any preparatory work has begun (no materials reviewed, no sessions held), you may receive a full refund of fees paid, minus any non-refundable deposit stated in your proposal.

Timeframe

Cancellation notices must arrive at least five business days before the first scheduled session for a full refund of unused fees (subject to deposit terms). Notices within five business days may receive a partial refund as described below.

Full and partial refunds

Full refund: eligible when no work has started and notice meets the timeframe above, excluding any deposit marked non-refundable in your written proposal.

Partial refund: if sessions have begun, we refund the unused portion of a package after deducting completed session fees at the rates in your proposal, plus work already performed (for example, a completed dossier audit).

Non-refundable items

• Deposits expressly labelled non-refundable in the engagement proposal
• Completed sessions and delivered written audits or simulation feedback
• Administrative fees for payment processing where a bank or processor does not reverse them

Refund process

Email info@smart-workflows.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days of confirmation.

Refund method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may be used if the original method is unavailable.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a session with at least forty-eight hours’ notice at no charge, subject to calendar availability. Late cancellations (under forty-eight hours) or no-shows may be charged as a delivered session. We may reschedule for illness or urgent conflict and will offer an alternative date promptly.

Work already started

Once a dossier audit, simulation, or written briefing has been delivered, that portion of the fee is earned and not refundable. Remaining unused sessions in a package may still qualify for a partial refund under the rules above.

Materials

We do not sell physical materials. Digital feedback and notes prepared for you remain yours to keep even if a later portion of an engagement is cancelled.
